Jesus’ Second Coming & The Last Day.Part1

The return of Isa ( peace be upon him ) is an event all three Abrahamic faiths are waiting for.

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad ( peace and blessings be upon him ) met Isa ( peace be upon him ) during his Night Journey when he was brought to Jerusalem and to the Heavens afterwards.

In order for us to recognize him and the Dajjal ( Anti Christ ), Prophet Muhammad ( peace and blessings be upon him ) described him in the following way :

“Ibn Nomayr has narrated to us from Hanzalah from Salim, that the said, “I heard Ibn Umar saying that the prophet said, “I saw near the Ka’bah (House of God), a person who was whitish-red and lank- haired, resting his hands upon two men, as water dripped from his head. I asked, “Who is this?” The people replied, “He is I`sa , Ibn Maryam ,” or they may have replied, “He is Masih, Ibn Maryam .” I also saw behind him, a man of red complexion, curly hair and blind in the right eye. The person with the most resemblance to him that I have seen, is Ibn-Qutn. So I asked, “Who is this?” The people replied, “He is Masih Ad-Dajjal.” ( Imam Bukhari, Imam Muslim and Imam Ahmed Ibn Hanbal )

Isa ( peace be upon him ) did not actually die, but he was brought to the heavens , marking the end of his existence on earth , and he will be brought back in order to continue his mission and experience death.

His return will discredit the claims made regarding his crucifixion and will beautifully bring the believing Christians and the Muslims together in a strong brotherhood. All the people will be called to the oneness of Allah.

The return of Isa ( peace be upon him ) is one of the many signs of the Judgement Day. He will be brought down in the East of Damascus , coming down near a white minaret with each hand on a wing of an angel. His head will be bowed down to Allah and from it will fall beads of sweat. He will descend upon Palestine heading for Beit Al-Maqdis for the prayer of Fajr or Asr.

The imam will recognize his presence and will ask him to lead the prayer. Isa ( peace be upon him )  will decline, implying that he has not returned with a new message, but rather as a follower of the message of Prophet Muhammad ( peace and blessings be upon him ) , since all prophets came with the message of Islam. This simultaneously shows how respectful and humble our dear prophet is .

After the prayer, Isa ( peace be upon him )opens the door of Beit Al-Maqdis and that is when they see Dajjal with his 70,000 soldiers. Just by seeing the face of our prophet, through the infinite Power of Allah , he will melt completely.

It is described in one narration that Isa ( peace be upon him ) will live on earth for 7 years, in total having a life of 40 years (his ascension at the age of 33 plus the seven upon his return).

He will die at the age of 40 and according to scholars he will be buried in Medina next to Prophet Muhammad ( peace and blessings be upon him ).
